Originally established in February 1996 we have grown to be the largest crane hire company in Tasmania. Our fleet comprises of 31 cranes ranging in capacity from 2T to 300T and we are proud to employ 39 Tasmanians on a fulltime permanent basis. We supply these cranes from our two depots in Lampton Avenue, Derwent Park and Cypress Street, Launceston. We pride ourselves on our friendly professionalism, our honesty, our ethical approach to doing business and building strong relationships with our clients.

City Cranes
With their small wheel base, four wheel steer and all-wheel drive capabilities our Kobelco and Kato city cranes are ideally suited for accessing difficult sites. Whether you need to lift an air conditioner, steelwork or roof trusses from a narrow city alleyway or an all-terrain environment these cranes are effective and cost efficient, and available to hire statewide.

Pick and Carry
Our range of Australian built Franna and Linmac cranes are great general purpose machines. Ideal for height restricted areas and designed to lift a unit and ‘walk’ it to a new position. This is particularly handy when moving machinery or other large items. They have a central articulation joint, giving them excellent manoeuvrability in tight spaces like warehouses, switch yards or general site work.

Slew Cranes
We have 19 slew cranes available for hire statewide across our two depots ranging in capacity up to 220T. Supplied to your site with a full range of lifting gear and operated by the best crew of crane operators in the state these cranes are able to cover all facets of general hire.

All Terrain
Our all-terrain cranes are designed for off road work, carrying out lifting and manbox work in all environments. With a shorter wheel base and smaller outrigger footprint than truck cranes, they are ideal for working in tight spaces.

Mini Cranes
Our Maeda mini crawler crane is ideal for working in restricted areas on domestic and construction sites, with a capacity of 3T and a reach of 12.3m from a carrier that is only 1.3m wide this innovative machine has proven its worth time and again.
